When does the program start?
How much does the program cost?
The Global Career Accelerator is a 6-credit ASU program. Depending on residency and total credit load, the program may either fit within existing tuition or be billed at the same per-credit rate as other ASU Online courses.
Specifities as they apply to the Global Career Accelerator
- Eligible corporate partner students utilizing corporate scholarships, tuition assistance, or other awards will be able to utilize their funds to participate. Additional details are found: here.
- We welcome Qualified Tuition Reduction (QTR) students to take the program, however, you will be unable to use QTR benefits for this program.
- Veterans are welcome to join, however, VA Benefits cannot be used at this time.
- Degree-seeking students may be eligible to receive financial aid for this program.

Does my Corporate Scholarship cover the ASU Global Career Accelerator?
Learners attending Arizona State University through a tuition coverage program (e.g. SCAP, Uber) are eligible to take advantage of several global education program offerings at ASU including Global Career Accelerator.

Can I take the program for credit?
Course Code(s) Available:

What if I can’t register for the classes because I have a registration hold or adding the program would put me over my credit limit?
To participate, you must have room for 6 total credits: 3 credits in Session A and 3 credits in Session B.
ASU generally allows students to enroll in up to 18 credits per semester (9 credits per session) without additional approval. If adding the program puts you over your allowed credit limit, you will need to request a credit overload from your college. Credit overloads are reviewed by ASU based on your individual circumstances and are not guaranteed.
If your overload request is not approved, you will need to adjust your schedule to make room for the program or you may not be able to participate that term.
Any registration holds must also be resolved before you can be fully registered.
Can I take the Global Career Acccelerator without increasing my cost to ASU?
How does the billing work?
- Program Fee Applied: When you enroll, you’ll see a program fee on your bill equal to 6 credits of tuition.
- Matching Credit Applied: ASU applies a billing credit to your account for the exact same amount so your overall bill doesn’t increase.
Bottom line: The Global Career Accelerator is a high-value opportunity. You get additional courses and career-connected experiences without paying more than your regular tuition
I'm an honors student, do these credits count towards Barrett honors credit?
Yes! All of the course code options for the program apply as honors credits. You don’t need to do anything other than apply for this to happen!
When will I see the Global Career Accelerator courses on my ASU schedule?
After you complete the Global Career Accelerator application and confirm your participation, there may be a short delay before your registration appears in MyASU.
You do not need to register for the Global Career Accelerator courses yourself. If additional action is required from you, we’ll let you know.
What are LiveLabs and Video Lessons?
The program is broken up into LiveLabs and Video Lessons:
LiveLabs are virtual sessions held once a week and conducted over Zoom with your classmates. Attendance of LiveLab each week is required. You can choose your LiveLab times according to your Track of choice. Seats tend to fill up fast. Make sure you reserve your seat quickly to secure your schedule.
Video Lessons are high-quality, pre-recorded videos that can be viewed any time — day or night — but you will need to stay on track with your peers.
When are LiveLabs?
Spring 2027 LiveLab Options:
- Tuesdays from 02:00 PM to 03:30 PM (MT / AZ)
- Wednesdays from 06:00 PM to 07:30 PM (MT / AZ)
- Tuesdays from 07:00 PM to 08:30 PM (MT / AZ)
